On Friday, Eric Bolling Jr. passed away just hours after Fox News officially fired his father. Now, the cause of the 19 year-old’s death has been revealed.
TMZ reported that sources are saying that Bolling Jr. died of a drug overdose at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was a student. Sources say that Bolling Jr. was having a difficult time dealing with the scandal his father was involved in. Insiders say that Bolling Jr. was extremely embarrassed by the stories and was “emotionally upset.”
“We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling’s son,” Fox News said in a statement after his death. “Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family.”
“We are overwhelmed by the love and support we have received. Adrienne and I thank you all and ask that you please keep us in your prayers,” Eric Bolling Sr. wrote on Twitter.
