With just a few weeks to go before he leaves office, Barack Hussein Obama is frantically trying to protect his legacy by doing something in the name of race-baiting that is sure to make you sick.
Daily Caller reported that Obama is making two aggressive appointments to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights just before Donald Trump is inaugurated, effectively blocking the president-elect from making any appointments to the eight-person commission until 2020.
The first of Obama’s appointees is Debo Adegbile, who was previously nominated to the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division but was blocked by a bipartisan group of senators for defending former Black Panther and convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. Pro-police groups have described Adegbile’s appointment as a “slap in the face,” and Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey is calling on Obama to withdraw the nomination.
“Mr. Adegbile did not simply defend a client. He supervised an effort to lionize unrepentant cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal, who cold-bloodedly murdered Philadelphia police officer Danny Faulkner 35 years ago,” Toomey said in a statement last week. “Mr. Adegbile supervised the effort to spread misinformation about the trial and evidence, fabricate claims of racism, malign Philly police, and organize rallies across the globe that portrayed this brutal cop-killer as the victim.”
John McNesby, president of the Philadelphia chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, spoke out to call this appointment a “kick in the teeth to the cops.”
The second appointee is Catherine Lhamon, the assistant secretary for civil rights at the Department of Education, who led the Obama administration’s transgender mandate that is currently the subject of litigation. She has close ties to radical liberal activists and played a major role in the infamous Rolling Stone rape hoax.
It’s sickening that Obama is trying to block Trump from naming anyone to this commission until 2020, when he will be up for reelection. SHARE this story if you can’t WAIT for Obama to leave the White House!
