Ever since Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, Barack Hussein Obama has been going around touting the conspiracy theory that he only won because Russia hacked our election for him.
This week, Obama tried to punish Russia for this alleged hacking by issuing an executive order that included a series of sanctions against them. Now, this move has come back to bite him in a big way…
Yesterday, Barack Obama issued sanctions against Russia in response to the cyberattacks he claimed were meant to ‘interfere’ in the election.
The FBI and the DHS issued a report on the attacks, seemingly referencing the actions against the DNC and John Podesta’s email.
Obama’s ‘sanctions’ included expelling 35 Russian diplomats and telling them they had 72 hours to leave the country. He also said he would shut down two Russian properties in Maryland and in New York which he claimed were connected to intelligence activities.
The Russians responded back with this reminder that Obama’s time in office is limited and that everyone, including Americans, would be glad to see him go.
According to IJR, Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told media that Obama’s actions did little to help the poor relationship between the two countries:
“Such steps of the U.S. administration that has three weeks left to work are aimed at two things: to further harm Russian-American ties, which are at a low point as it is, as well as, obviously, deal a blow on the foreign policy plans of the incoming administration of the president-elect.”
Peskov promised retaliation:
