The world was rocked by another terrorist attack on Thursday, this time in Baghdad, Iraq.
BBC reported that at least 48 people were killed today and over 50 people were injured when a series of bombs exploded near car dealerships in the Shia area of Bayaa in the south of the city. This came a day after 18 people were killed in a similar terrorist attack on used-car dealerships in the city.
ISIS has reportedly already claimed responsibility for today’s attack.
The death toll from Thursday’s attack is expected to rise, as many of the victims are in critical condition. The bombs reportedly were detonated in a crowded street full of garages and used car dealers in Hayy al-Shurta.
