Throughout his sham of a presidency, Barack Hussein Obama has almost single-handedly ruined our relationship with our once-close ally of Israel. He made things even worse for us on Friday when he allowed the United Nations to condemn the West Bank settlers in a controversial vote.
Days later, the United Nations has made yet another move against Israel that is downright sickening.
Right Wing News reported that the United Nations just named Israel as the worst violator of women’s rights in the world. This struck many by surprise, as most people think of countries like Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan as the main violators of women’s rights.
However, the United Nations chose Israel as the worst in terms of women’s rights because of the way they have treated Palestinian women.
This comes after Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke out to claim that he has “ironclad” information tying Obama directly to the anti-Israel resolution passed last week by the United Nations Security Council. David Keyes, Netanyahu’s spokesman, said that Israel also has evidence Obama helped “craft” the resolution.
“Well, we have ironclad information, frankly, that the Obama administration really helped push this resolution and helped craft it, from sources internationally and from sources in the Arab world, and it’s really an unfortunate legacy, kind of last minute jab at Israel that actually distances peace,” Keyes said, according to The Blaze.
“We have full confidence that the information is accurate,” he added. “This resolution is shameful and actually pushes peace farther away.”
During a later interview with FoxNews, Keyes explained that an “abandonment” of Israel by the Obama administration is currently playing out for the world to see.
“I think what we’re seeing is an abandonment of Israel, and an abandonment of a long-standing American policy,” he said.
“The White House already has acknowledged President Obama made the decision for U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power to abstain,” Keyes added. “Unclear was how involved the Obama administration was in crafting and pushing the resolution itself – which initially was put forward by Egypt, and then pursued by New Zealand, Malaysia, Senegal and Venezuela.”
